Doug Cohen provides his take on U.S./China trade tensions for The Wall Street Journal. As global trade talks have introduced volatility into the market, The Wall Street Journal recently asked Doug Cohen, Athena Capital’s managing director of portfolio management, for his insight on what investors can expect.
Cohen noted that strong incentives are evident on both sides of the negotiations, which should make a compromise likely, even if the next six months are characterized by uncertainty. “The China issue will likely resolve itself over the course of the next six months or so,” he told the paper. “If rationality prevails, there’s a strong incentive for both sides to make a deal.”
